Inulin Fructanex
Inulin occurs naturally in plants and vegetables. It is a dietary fiber chemically composed of a mixture of oligo- and/or polysaccharides constituted of fructose unit chains of various length. Inulin have the ability to enhance the digestive health because it stimulate the selective growth of beneficial bifidobacteria, increases the adsorption of calcium by the body and reduces the triglyceride content of the serum in the liver. Inulin is considered as a low calorie food ingredient that is nowadays an essential part of a well-balanced and enjoyable diet. Inulin are used in many food applications as fat or sugar replacement, as a low caloric bulking agent and as a texturizing agent.
